Fantastic Arts & Crafts Enamelled Sterling Silver and steel Hat PinThis is an English Arts & Crafts movement sterling silver hat pin with vivid enamel top decoration. It has rich cobalt blue and turquoise tones infilling the silver arts and craft scrolls and heat shaped top piece. It has a very Liberty or Tiffany look to it that leads us to date it to the early 1900s, say 1900 through 1910.It is not marked; tests confirm the enamelled top is 925 fine sterling silver. It has a long nic...kel plated pin to assist in securing the hat to the head.It is in good antique condition the long pin is losing its nickel plating and is corroded in art, small shallow chip of enamel to one edge on one side with underling colour still present; some expected light wear.
