You're looking at a VTG 1837 ROGERS BROS. MERIDEN BRITANNIA SILVER PLATED PICKLE OLIVE FORK. The fork is in pre-owned condition with some signs of wear as scratches, stains, tarnish stains and light dust. At its front handle area and at its back area it shows a notorious scratch where it has been acid tested. It comes marked at its back handle area with the words: 1847 Rogers Bros., and the words Meridien in a circle. It weights 17.2 grams at my scale and it measures 5 5/8" long a...pprox. I found it at an estate sale.
