3 piece cast iron train Buffalo brand by Pratt & Letchworth. 4-4-0 loco with steel tender stamped 870 is no. 972 in CAST IRON FLOOR TRAINS. Loco only is 9 1/16 inches long. The coach is not listed in the book. 11 9/16 inches long. 28 windows. Rubber stamped: New York Central & Hudson River, Niagara Falls 896. The only known example. All original, no cracks, no repairs.
