Offered here is a group of eight antique toothpick holders, recently obtained from an estate sale in Adams County, PA. The vessels vary in size from 2-1/8" - 3" tall and were made in Bavaria, Japan, Germany, Japan, Ireland and USA. The pattern glass has three feet, scalloped edge and no chips. The greenish brown and brown* crock are made of pottery - * has chip in upper rim. - see pictures. The white ironstone has embossed design with light pink luster around the inne...r rim - there is a small chip upper edge. The oval violet decorated container is 3" long x 1-5/8" wide x 2-1/4" tall. It was made by Efchenbach "La Reine". The blue and white holder is cylindrical with smooth bottom, no chips; the black bisque boot has two cats = one climbing the boot, the other peering through a hole - it is roughly painted flat black and the last holder is opalescent beige panels with tan leaf and branch designs in every other panel. The panels are outlined with beading.
