Just so you know: I buy storage units and this PIONEER SX-1280was inside i...n one of the units that i bought just as you see it in thepictures.
This receiver was tested BY MYSELF with a very small speakerbut powerful speaker(the one you see in the pictures)and thisreceiver WORKS beautifully on the AM & FM.
*******************************************************************************Since i don't have LARGER speakers to test this AWESOME receiverto the fullest, this Pioneer Receiver is being listed in the "For parts ornot working section" as i just don't feel comfortable listing this itemin the "Used Section" when in fact it has not been tested to the fullest, and also, i do not know how to test the rest of the buttons to see if theyare functioning correctly., so even though this receiver works, you arebidding on an item that is listed under "For parts or not working" as ithas not been fully tested with powerful, larger speakers to see how itreally sounds.************************************************************************************At the end of the day, this receiver WORKS GREAT!., and i am more thansure that it does work to the fullest(i just can not tell you that it does), as I PERSONALLY did not test this receiver to the fullest MYSELF(i don't havebigger, more powerful speakers to test to the fullest).
All lights that includes the FM light, STERO light, AUX light, justall of the lights work as they should. The watts, signal and tuningmeters(all 4 meters) also work correctly as they should.
I also tested the A, B and C speakers LEFT & RIGHT and all of themwork correctly as they should.
I tested the treble, bass and other buttons and they work beautifully, butthere are some buttons that i do not know how to test like the DUPLICATETAPE MONITOR, ADAPTOR, MODE & OTHERS, so those buttons i can nottell you if they work for their intended purpose as i do not know how to test them.
Just so you know: I have played this Pioneer sx1280 all week long on theAM & FM and i've had NO problems with it, but again: Since this receiverhas not been tested to the fullest(meaning with powerful speakers and alsoi have not tested the other buttons as stated above), this receiver is beingsold as "For parts or not working".
Picture # 7 shows where i took the top metal screen off just totake a picture of the inside.
IMPORTANT: I WILL NOT remove other parts of this receiver as IAM NOT a qualified technician and who knows what can happen ifi remove other parts, so PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO REMOVE OTHERPARTS TO TAKE PICTURES. Thank you.
Just so you know: I DO NOT own 2 of this same item - pictures are of the actual receiver that you will be receiving.
