For Sale Vintage Mcintosh MA5100 Solid State Integrated Amplifier

I had this as my primary for a while driving a pair of JBL L100's. It was good
I have ...since moved on from the L100's and changed up my power as well (yes, to tubes).
This unit is in excellent cosmetic condition. Glass is perfect. No bubbling. Chrome is at worst very good. Some spotting but no rust that i can see. Knobs are LOVELY
The right-most inputs (Phone 2 and Tape HD) are slightly pushed in. Bonked at some point. But they work fine.
The lights at the far left are a little weak. I took off the front panel (pretty easy) and the bulb was fine? So I just left it as is. I am including some extra bulbs as well (have some on hand). They are NOT LED.
The case is hand made. I had some extra black walnut so I made it. I am a furniture guy by trade. Perfect? No. But REALLY GOOD LOOKING and in keeping with the Mcintosh look. Did I mention SOLID BLACK WALNUT? No veneer here. It is 3 sided (no bottom) so you slide it back to take it off. It has wooden sliders that match up with the brackets on the side of the 5100. Sits nice, straight and solid. MUCH Better looking than the average case in my opinion.
I have tested the Aux/Tape and PHONO. All work fine. Had the phono hooked up this am in fact and was quite pleased.
There is a little noise (crackling) when turning off and turning on when it hasn't warmed up. I never had it serviced or updated but it plays very well. at SOME POINT it will need to be looked at but for now it works and works well. Since it is a Mcintosh it is built for the long haul
Since this was my main at one point I can attest to it's normal working functions. Everything on the front panel works.
This is a GREAT Mcintosh unit. The 5100's are under appreciated in my book. And they look great. So they have that going for them.
