Belonged to a relative who worked in the Paramount sound department and had top of the line equ...ipment. On Jul-27-20 at 14:36:53 PDT, seller added the following information:Had someone come test as a system this morning. Lights come on on receiver/pre-amp, seems to be getting FM signal, but no sound comes out of the speakers. Believed to be a bad tube in the McIntosh unit. Speakers look to be in good condition, measure ohms and seems to be good, cones look good. On Jul-27-20 at 14:42:29 PDT, seller added the following information:Update to description - unfortunately ebay won't let me fix the title once bidding has occurred. The McIntosh is more correctly described as tuner/preamp. not a receiver. On Aug-04-20 at 15:53:49 PDT, seller added the following information:Powered up the amp today and everything seems to work. FM tuner pulled in stations. Played some Benny Goodman from a cell phone through an auxiliary cable and it sounded really good.
