Bose Model 551 Spatial Control Receiver Vintage.
Selling my vintage Bose Spatial Control Receiver. This is the larger model, not to be confused with the Model 550 that does not have the spatial control and is only rated at 40 watts per channel. AM / FM stereo receiver with analog inputs.
The Model 551 has 4 independent amplifiers, each rated at 100 watts per channel. Beautiful walnut case, excellent face, trim and controls. It works fantastic with series III or IV Bose 901 speake...rs with specific rear panel hook ups to utilize the built in 901 equalizer. It is perfect for any 901s, or with any kind of traditional speakers. Great sound from this rare receiver!
Vintage styling and controls. The Bose logo on the front panel is a touch switch which will turn the receiver on. The controls are hidden behind the front panel trim panel. Beautiful vintage Bose blue dial and indicators. I do not have the manual, but it is readily available online (can send links). The receiver has been well taken care of and in is in sound electronic shape as well.
