This listing is for vintage Navajo cuff bracelet made of solid sterling silver, Mediterranean coral branches, and Gem Grade Turquoise. ——————————————————————————***PLEASE read entire description from top to bottom. I try to go above and beyond when describing pieces of this nature and value. I do this for “YOU”.....As a potential buyer I want you to know that I have taken a large amount of time and effort to describe my pieces in ...great detail, leaving nothing out. Please pay close attention to measurements, especially with cuff bracelets...Cuff bracelets are returned more than any other type of jewelry due to sizing issues. I give precise measurements and returns can be avoided by knowing your own wrist size. The last thing both of us need is to have to deal with a return. So kick back, don’t be in a hurry, and take 5 minutes to process all the information below. THANKS!!! :)——————————————————————————This vintage piece is one of the largest and heaviest pieces we have collected this year. It’s full of bright vibrant color, great depth and dimension, and the highest level of craftsmanship....we couldn’t be more proud of this stellar piece by Glen Spence. A thick triple shank made of solid sterling silver is the base of this cuff. Deep hand stampings of arrows and sunbursts cover the entire front side of the 3 shanks. The shanks start off flattened at each end by the gap. Typically they would be fused together but, this piece has them separated with short flattens rods of silver creating what looks to be a five shank cuff. By doing this the Artist created a wide sturdy opening, sure to stand the test of time and use. As the 3 shanks near the back of the face they round out in shape and are securely soldered to the back of the cuff face. The face of the cuff consists of a thick heavy plate of silver with a dark oxidization to the front. 9 Mediterranean coral branches and 3 gem grade Damale(?)Turquoise stones cover the entire face of the cuff. The turquoise, which appears to be Damale, sit inside straight edge bezels with bold colors of dark green and blue. They have a 4 dimensional effect where you can see inside each stone.....amazingly stunning!! They have a high polished smooth finish. The branches of coral have just as much character, resting inside hand-cut scalloped bezels. The corals are natural in shape and rather large with a deep blood red opaque hue. They have natural pores and veining, creating an organic look and feel. The largest branch that runs horizontally has a crack and the two branches below have one hairline crack each. These particular branches are still perfectly secure in their settings and the price has been adjusted due to this. The retail value without the cracks is just over $3000.00The design is finished with small silver droplets resting between each coral branch along the outer edge of the face. This is truly a magnificent piece of work by Glen Spence......”one of a kind”. The turquoise and coral is of the highest quality on the market. I have taken photos from every angle possible to show the magnitude of this bracelet. Please know, I am very proud to have owned it for a short time and to be selling it now. This is not a piece that should be worn daily. It is very large and heavy at 204 grams and should not be purchased to wear casually. This would be a great addition to any collection of fine Native American jewelry, a fantastic display piece, and of course on special occasions it should be worn. Cherish and enjoy this tangible asset for now.....and like I alway say....hand it down to your loved ones in the future, so they may have the same enjoyment as you once did!! I will entertain reasonable offers!!
