Rare early 1960s Gretsch 6162 "Twin Reverb" tube amp for guitar, made by Valco (the parent company that made Supro, National, Airline, and other brands). This is the earlier version, before the model name was changed to "Dual Twin - Reverb". Maybe there was some discrepancy between Gretsch and Fender at the time, causing the name change. The charcoal tolex on this has a very handsome interlocking geometric pattern accented with white pinstripes, the same featured on the very expensive ...Jimmy Page "Sundragon" amplifier.
This amplifier is basically the same as a vintage Supro Royal Reverb (two channels- reverb, tremolo, 6973 power tubes, 2x10" Jensen speakers, also made by Valco). It sounds excellent and works great, with lots of reverb and an excellent tremolo. International shipping available only with eBay's Global Shipping Program.
