16” Schoenhut girl with carved braids around the head. 1911-1923 Transitional doll.
Painted blue eyes and blue bow in her hair.
The doll is wearing a muslin printed dress that appears to be original. It is held in place in the back with a bluebird pin. Underneath is a Schoenhut Union suit with lots of holes in the back. The doll has no shoes or so socks.
This doll has had a minor touch up on its paint, especially the hands. I see no touchup on the... hair or legs or feet.
She has a very sweet face, and is a difficult doll to find. She comes from a smoke free environment. Shipping will be a flat rate of $20 to her new home. Happy collecting!
