Vintage Apple II Computer Model A2S1 With Apple Language Card - Powers On
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:26127219 | Brand: Apple |
Vintage: Yes | Model: Apple II |
Thank you for looking, today we have:
Vintage Apple II Computer, Model A2S1. An Apple Language Card is installed in one of the slots. I was able to power the computer on, but the only video output I could get were the white bars shown in the last picture. I think the display resolution isn't handled by this TV, or something needs to get fixed on the board. Everything pictured is included in this auction: The computer with language card, manual for the Apple Language System with adde...ndum, and two Apple II reference manuals. Not pictured, but also included is a COOL-MARK II fan with description.
I unfortunately am selling this off after the passing of my father (not Covid related), and I don't know enough to get this operational, but I'm hoping someone out there can get it in working order while appreciating it as much as he did. I'll be posting many more hardware and loose disks over the next month, so keep an eye out for those as well. I tried my best to pair as many related pieces of hardware, documentation, and disks in one auction, but I'm sure I'll have missed something that may get listed later when I find it separately.
US Shipping: This item will ship Ground through UPS. If you'd like faster service I'm willing to look into it. If you win other items, I'm willing to combine as much as will fit in the current box, but it will take some time to get a quote for combined shipping. I'm not sure how accurate eBay's automated shipping is for UPS. If you have concerns over the calculated cost, contact me for a quote with your zip code.
International Shipping: This is available; however, please wait for an invoice as I'm looking into DHL as an alternative to UPS. EBay doesn't have an option for it, but I've heard it's not as expensive. Contact me while the auction is ongoing, and I'll get a quote for your country.
On Aug-31-20 at 15:00:57 PDT, seller added the following information:As suspected, eBay's automated shipping calculator for UPS doesn't take everything into account. Please contact me with your zip code or country if you have concerns over shipping cost, and I'll be happy to provide a more accurate shipping cost. (e.g. Shipping to New York was calculated as costing $100 through eBay's automated calculator; however, when I checked using my UPS account, the cost came out to $41.) Any overestimation by eBay will be refunded if you choose to pay without waiting for an invoice.
On Sep-03-20 at 17:37:30 PDT, seller added the following information:Note for international bidders: it seems UPS International is exceptionally expensive. Please send me a message if you'd like a more accurate quote. Sorry for the inconvenience.
