The background is a flax color and the floral urn print designs are in warm, rich hues of lavender, pink, orange, yellow, purple, burgundy, brown, gray, green, and teal. ...;
Itmeasures approximately 30 1/2" (selvedge to selvedge) wide by approximately 9 yards long. The selvedge is 5/8" wide on each side. The pattern repeats about every 27". It is a medium weight. Italso has it's original Bullock's tag attached with a metal clip. It is one continuous piece.
Bullock'sLA was a retail store which was on Wilshire Boulevard that became known for higherquality home goods and fabrics that opened its doors in 1929. I believe that this was animported fabric from either England, Ireland, or France. I was told that it may be "Linen Union" and most likely an import from England, where most of these linens weremanufactured during the 1940's. However, it is my opinion that this is pre 1930s due to the fact that it only measures 30.5" wide. Generally, widths between 24" - 30" indicate that the fabric was manufactured before 1930 or so. It is my understanding that linen, like this, was not manufactured in the United States during the 1920's and most of it came from Ireland.
Will be shipped off the bolt.
