Circa 1936-1937: Literally one of the nicest examples of this much sought after piece I have ever seen...Offered for sale is a beautiful vintage Fiesta ware covered onion soup bowl from the original color line of the 1930s. The onion soup bowl is made of ceramic pottery and it was made by Homer Laughlin China.The onion soup bowl is in the radioactive red color with curved handles and a fitted lid. Overall the onion soup bowl measures about 6" in diameter from handle to handle and stand...s about 4 1/4" tall with the lid in place.The overall condition of the onion soup bowl is AMAZING. It is extremely clean and I see no chips, cracks, or repaired areas. The color is bold and the glaze is glossy with no crazing. The surface is very nice with some small mineral streaks and some spots under the glaze on the lid that is visible in the photos.. and wear to the base as expected.
