Antique 1894 AM 8 DEP 21” German Doll / 5” Doll/ 5” Mohair Bear / Chest Filled. Condition is Used. This is a huge doll collectors dream collection. This doll has been loved and cherished over generations. Each decade as seen items added or repaired till the collection literally tells a story. I will call her Rose since so many of her accessories are Enhanced with roses . It starts with a 21” pretty German porcelain doll from the Armand Marseilles factory, ca: mid 1890's. It is ...mold 1894 and she has a fabulous face. She is on a fully jointed composition and wood Child body ( a newer one ) with the jointed limbs for wonderful possibility . Her large blue grey glass sleep eyes are surrounded in upper and lower lashes. She has the darker feathered brows similar to the French bebes. The mouth is slightly open showing a top row of teeth. The lips have coral lip color and a darker shade of coral outlining. The cheeks are full and have a light blush. Her wig appears to be a vintage replacement but it is a beautiful blond human hair with a nice set. The sleep eyes are looser than they should be one eye sometimes sticks a little . The bisque head has no chips, breaks, cracks or repairs. The only fault I see is a common factory oversight in covering the head with paint up high on the back of the head. She has pink dress and antique underclothing, i.e., slip and pantaloons ( glass button fasteners) , and antique pink cloth buckle / ribbon shoes and socks. She also comes with a sterling silver Guilloche enamel rose necklace and a pink & blue . Handmade cloisonne beaded bracelet. A 21” silk bone carved handle parasol. (The silk has stains an holes inside and doesn’t stay open also the handle has been repaired at some point) and a antique cloth and brass small little purse . Marks: "1894 / A M 7 DEP / Made in Germany" on the back of the head.The smaller doll bisque is a 5” cabinet size German doll with glass set eyes , posable arms and legs . She is dressed in handmade cotton pantaloons , crochet and chiffon pink /blue dress , a sweet straw hat , and comes with a tiny antique basket filled with flowers ( her shoes and socks are painted on ) has blonde human hair wig ( old and sparse in spots ) not noticeable chips or cracks but some black paint marks on legs . She is marked 150. 410.The teddy bear is a Antique Schuco mohair teddy bear perfume. The head detaches to reveal a hidden compartment inside the perfume vial has been replaced with a wooden peg. With legs extended it measures 5" high by 2¼" wide by 1½" deep. It is in good condition for its age. The mohair is thick and nice all over .Also included is a 10”X 5” x 6” antique wooden paper covered chest / antique 7” x 4” wooden bed / 4” Wooden dresser with mirror / 2.5” wooden chest of drawers / custom made cloth & wood couch 5” x 4” / green metal table / a tin type photo of a child in a gold frame / miscellaneous smalls from vintage to handmade to antiques . These have been collected or made over the years and each have a history of their own. This is being sold as is and as a set . Please check out all the details and photos.
