CONDITION:
Original Condition - No Repairs, No Restorations, No Chips, No Breaks, No Hairlines, just general light crazing, scuffs and scratches as you would expect for an item of this period. - Please study my detailed photographs and do not hesitate to message me if you have any questions. - It is interesting to note the the top rim is potted thinly, whereas the base is rather thick. This gives the vase a good weighting towards the base, which of course grounds it and helps it from tipping over. I have never seen another Song Dynasty vase with these types of birds on, very attractive and charming design in my honest opinion. - The horizontal line that can be seen in my 5th photo is simply an original clay shrinkage mark (before the Qingbai glaze was added), it is not damage. The top rim of the vase has a slight list, the brown dot under the rim is an iron mark, which in in the glaze and totally original (see 6th & 10th photos for details). - I am sure the winner of this rare, fine vase will be delighted with it.
