Lovely vintage sheer linen wedding handkerchief .. elaborate and meticulous Appenzell hand embroidery ~ featuring flowers, tendrils, and ornaments; padded satin and seed stitches; slender pulled thread drawnwork and fills; scalloped edge all around. Apx 11 1/2" X 11 3/4" ~ all but 3 1/4" in ...the center is embellished. Very good, clean condition ~ appears unused. Enlarge photos for detail. Perfect for the bride!
