We ship internationally - We combine shipping on multiple purchases!Item Information:This listing is for one vintage Dinner Plate by Shenango China made for use on President Dwight Eisenhower's plane - Columbine. This plate comes up from time to time and various information can be found online. It is a very unique Presidential piece and also a rare find for th...e restaurant china collector.It is documented online that Shenango China made this plate for Columbine III in 1956.The plate measures 10'' wide. This is a previously owned plate in good-minus condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. It has a production flaw on the right bottom side along the rim (like a burst bubble), which is covered in gold. There is one area with gray-black utensil or storage marks under D.D.E. off to the left. There are some faint gray spots along the bottom. Neither the storage marks or spots can be removed and are permanent - I have tried multiple times - carefully, without success. There is some scuffing/wear/loss to the gold in different spots, with the majority remaining intact. The D.D.E. design has minor scuffing wear, with the overwhelming majority remaining intact. The plate as a whole displays light to light-plus utensil wear in the center. The base shows some general storage wear. Please click on the images for more information and to help with your decision.
