DUNHILLPIPE LIGHTER VINTAGE PETROL POCKET WICK FLUID c1935 Herewe have the Dunhill pipe pocket lighter for sale. This was firstoffered for sale in Dunhill’s catalogue in 1935. Offeredis this double wheel lighter which measures 53mm high x 45mm wide x13.5mm deep and carries patent number 390107 on the base. It is inextremely good condition and “very clean” for its age. Abeautiful and extremely good example. Thelighter has the curved “Dunhill” arm. It is marked “Dunhill�...��on the arm and is all original in condition. Thedouble flint wheel mechanism works well and will produce a strongspark. It will require lighter fluid and a flint if required foroperation and as such should be considered as non-working at present.Thelighter body is plain silver plated and has an inscription and a dateof 1940. Theslider mechanism works well and is quite tight in the lighter body. The liftarm has a nice and tight spring action with the full 2 leafspring fitted. Thereis the hint of a light pocket wear to the outside edges of thelighter Theare NO dings or dents whatsoever making this one of the nicestDunhill pipelighters I have seen in a long time.
