Vintage McCoy Teardrop, Streamliner Tether Car Parts

You are bidding on a couple of original McCoy .60streamliner, teardrop tether car axles. Both axles are in good condition and readyto accommodate your streamliner project. Please notice that I will also includea custom made shell to this action as a bonus, for those of you that can finduse for it. This action is primary about the front and rear axles. You must useyour own expertise to determine if the body is right for you or not. It appearsas if someone tried to build a .60 car out of... the shell, but the clearancebetween the upper and bottom halves is only good for a .29 motor mount or bigger. Nevertheless, a 0.60 McCoy engine will fit inside the car just fine. It is that the clearance forthis wider/taller engine mount won’t allow for the two halves to close properlyunless you modify the body further. There is a cutaway opening on the size tomake a flywheel roll freely without hitting the body. The front tires areoriginal, except for the hex screws. The rear tires are both new reproductionswith a good size for this custom shell. There is also a piece of thread wrappedaround one of the front rims. I assume it was put in place to secure the tireto the rim due to the narrow nature of the fitment. The glue and thread lookslike something that can be removed, cleaned and fit back the right way. Theseaxles can be refitted to an original McCoy body or you can go ahead and applysome originality to this shell and come out with your own custom car design.
