Vintage Talbot Reel & Mfg. Co. "Comet" German Silver Reel & Schmelzer Case is in excellent condition. The reel spool spins freely when the handle is turned and the click works fine. The reel is marked "Schmelzer Arms Co." on the back of the reel and the top of the leather case. The marked leather case is as scarce as the reel itself and is unique with the leather reinforced edges. Also, the reel has a interesting serial number 6666.
