Up for auction is my vintage Marantz model MR235 AM/FM stereo receiver in excellent condition. Receiver output is rated at 30 watts per channel RMS into 8 ohms. I have only tested the AM, FM, and AUX inputs (using a CD player) since I no longer own a functioning turntable or any tape recording equipment in order to test these inputs. Otherwise, everything else has been tested. During my testing none of the controls were noisy or scratchy. See all receiver specifications below. Cosmetic...ally I would rate my receiver a solid 9 on a scale from 1 to 10. I have one small edge chip on the back left side (see photo) of the receiver's case. All the panel lamps are working (see photos). Being sold as-is due to its age. Marantz produced this model of receiver in 1978. Mine is a nice one that has been preserved. A new FM dipole antenna is included.

When testing the FM tuner, the signal tuning meter worked as it should. I did not see the signal strength meter move much, but this could be that where I live in rural MA it is difficult to get good FM reception. So hopefully the strength meter will function as it should in a better reception area. Just wanted to report everything that I know about the receiver.
