This is a beautiful pair of vintage Italian alabaster or marble carved column table lamps.
I would estimate they date circa 1950s.
They each measure 30 inches tall (76.2 cm). Not including the sockets and white covers on top, they each measure 21 1/2 inches tall (54.6 cm).
These lamps have a wonderful, classic look. I believe it is referred to as Italian neo classical style. They are quite elegant!
One of them has a chip just near the bottom of the base. They both have othe...r scattered dings and nicks, but most of these tend to just blend in with the overall look of the lamps. One of them has some gray scratches on the back. I don’t know what caused this, but fortunately it is in the back!
There is some very light wear to the finish of the black bases. I am fairly certain these can be removed if you wanted, but personally I think they make this pair special and add a touch of class to them.
Only the lamp with the brown wire is working, but I always recommend rewiring any vintage lighting.
Together they weigh 31 pounds (14 kg).
I think you’ll be very impressed with them!
