Vintage New York Master Link Four Star Otto Link Hawkins Special Tenor Sax Mouthpiece. The body is marked "Four **** Model, Master Link N.Y. Mouthpiece, Hawkins Special Series GG64" and the shank is marked "Otto Link & Co. Inc. New York"
Here is a mouthpiece with a lot of potential. I traded a fishing reel for this piece back in 2015 with the intent of having it fixed up and made great again but that never happened so I'm selling it so hopefully it'll get the love it needs. Here...'s the deal with this, somebody in the past "refaced" it and the work was not done well. The table is not flat and the rails and tip are uneven, that's why it's listed as "for parts/not working". The bite plate is in good shape. I tried to show as much as I could in the pics, message me if you have any questions or want any specific pics. I sent pics to several known mouthpiece refacers back when I aquired the piece and was told that it is salvageable and can be made into a great piece once again. I've no idea what this is worth in it's current state so it's listed with no reserve.
