This auction is for a rare vintage Knucklehead Smiff ventriloquist dummy doll/toy. If your looking at this auction, you likely already know more about it then I do. But I know people collect them as toys and some people actually use them as a dummy. We used him as a Halloween decoration over the last few years, thanks to Goosebumps. Just sitting in different places to freak out our kids. Considering age and wear, i’d say he’s in fair shape in his current state. I noticed... online that people refurb them, or even rebuild them as a more usable dummy. Tried to capture condition as best possible in the pictures, but feel free to reach out with any questions. He has plenty of string, which seems fully attached, but I can’t get his mouth to move right. Read online there’s a rubber band involved, that basically deteriorated over time. Again, looks like theirs ways to fill it or doll places that can refurb. We never did any of that he’s in his original state, and old and somewhat dingy works well with a Halloween theme. Main flaws I noticed were; bottom on his coat has since ripped and is safety pinned. Needs to have the seam on his shoulder restitches some, as well as one of his shoes. Easily fixable, but I’ll leave that to you to do as seen fit. Sold as “used”, “as is”, no returns please, so reach out with any questions prior to bidding/buying. Winner pays $15 shipping.
