VINTAGE D^D MARKED WW2-ERA BROWN & SHARPE 240RS 0-1" BENCH MICROMETER EX-ARMY

VINTAGE D^D MARKED WW2-ERA BROWN & SHARPE 240RS 0-1" BENCH MICROMETER EX-ARMY
Marked D^D, indicating it is ex-Australian Defence Department. Given the condition, it wo...uld indicate it hasn't seen a whole lot of use. The top spindle functions perfectly, but the secondary smaller spindle below it, which is usually spring-loaded and returns-to-zero, isn't functioning as it should. It spins freely, with no spring tension, which probably indicates the spring has broken. I have been told it is repairable.
