Offered here is a rare publicity press photo from the 1960s cartoon series called The Three Musketeers! This is a Hanna-Barbera Productions studio publicity photo (undated, circa but late 1960’s).It is the typical 8" x 10" size with a glossy front side. The image shows a cel like line drawing of the three main characters from the TV cartoon show. The photo was likely used in some fashion for publicity of the early cartoon that appeared as a segment of the Banana Splits TV s...how. I have never seen another set of these offered for sale, so these were likely produced in very limited quantities.The Three Musketeers is an American Saturday morning cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for NBC. It premiered in 1968, running for 18 episodes as a segment on The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. It took the main characters Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and D'Artagnian from the novel and placed them in new adventures fighting the enemies of the crowned heads of France. They are sometimes assisted by a queen's handmaid named constance (D'Artagnian's lover from the novel) and her young nephew, Tooley. A recurring theme has Toolie trying to prove himself worthy of becoming a musketeer but the musketeers won't allow him into their services because of his age. Tooley, who has a white horse, named Lightning, does get a present from the musketeers, which was a mule for his birthday. Several of the cartoons end with the famous "ALL FOR ONE, AND ONE FOR ALL" slogan.Condition is good as shown, but does have a diagonal crease at upper right corner as shown.
