Vintage Hohner Chromatica Harmonica Model 261 With Original Box, 14" lengthVery rare Harmonica. Similar to model 263, but more rare. The model 261 is in line octave tuned blow only verses the model 263 that is blow and draw. The model 261 has 35 notes with 70 reeds. The second set of 35 reeds is one octave lower than the first 35. Starts with A below middle C. It has a much richer and more organ like sound than the 263. The comb is recessed between upper and lower holes to prevent lip ...lock to separate the notes. Used but in very good condition. Only 2 longer scratches of about 1 inch length each on top side. One by s on Hohner’s and one by C on Chromatica. One smaller scratch on bottom side. Otherwise just small random miscellaneous nicks and/or scratches. Very nice looking harmonica with very nice polished finish. See pictures for condition. The included original box was taped at some point in it’s life to keep it together. The original label is on the box as well. See pictures for condition.
