This Capehart model 7000A vintage television was manufactured in 1984 and sold at Woolco retail stores. It has a large 13-inch color screen and classic retro looks, with faux walnut cabinet, chunky dial knobs, odd copper/bronze-tone face, and shiny chrome-color trim. I'm not sure exactly who manufactured it, but it is absolutely identical to an AOC/Admiral TV we owned a few years back (model C3720A). It is cable ready with a coaxial input on the rear, and is equipped with all of the fi...ne-tuning settings needed to adjust for best picture quality, including vertical hold adjustment. This vintage television has a few minor scuffs and scratches, but has been thoroughly cleaned and looks recently manufactured. There is a problem with the power/volume knob. It worked fine for a while, but now does not power off the TV. You can hear and feel a "click" when you try to turn it off, but picture and sound stay on. Feels like it's not clicking all the way through. There is apparently a mechanical failure on the switch, so the TV will automatically power on when plugged in and won't turn off unless you unplug it (maybe use a power strip so you can use it's power switch to turn the TV on and off. Volume still works perfectly. Picture quality is beautiful. Cabinet measures 12.75"H x 18.75"W x 16"D.
