Two Chinese Scroll Weights / Plaques Buddha & Flying Bird. Super Quality (79) Two nicely decorated Scroll Weights / Plaques, Chinese I presume . One exhibits a facing Buddha, it measures 10 x 5.5cm and weighs 133 gr. White metal, but not brass or bronze. Rectangular Chinese stamp mark on the reverse. Very nice quality. Wonderfully embellished. The second exhibits a garden scene with a flying bird above. It measures 11 ...x 5.8cm and weighs 165 gr. White metal, but not brass or bronze. Rectangular Chinese stamp mark on the reverse. Very nice quality. A little blotchy, requires cleaning. I have made a very small file mark on the reverse of both plaques in order to examine the core or base metal, both appear to have a silver toning. They are not yellow in colour, but please note, this does not mean they are silver – see pictures.
