This is a lovely 19th centurywalnut folding book slide with applied brass and bone Gothic decoration.
The folding ends are in anarched ecclesiastical style.
The slide has been modified(with a slither of wood) to remain in the fixed position. I have not tampered with it, so its extendingcapabilities have not been tested.

It is in good vintagecondition. There are general signs ofage and use as expected. Apart from alight dust it has been left in its authentic unrestored condition. Please refer to the photographs.
