Original Description:
Up for auction is a short note in what is believed to be Abigail Adams hand. 
The following is my best effort in capturing the letter in type:
Mrs. Adams presents presents her compliments to Mr. Tod sends him a negro strongly recommended by Countess Colom - he who is anxious to engage himself with a Gentleman going to England he speaks French and English perfectly and should Mr. T engage him the Ten will procure him a passport in time for him to attend Mr.... T on Monday if necessary. A. sends the man with this note that he may have an immediate answer.
