Original Description:
The rear handle is broken/cracked and has chips and chucks missing.  The adjustment knob is marked patented Aug 31, 58  (1858).  The blade has cut corners which I think is correct for a type 1, but not positive.  I have not cleaned the plane.  Would make a very nice restoration project.  Please see the pic's.  48 US only.
