This is a special, rare, unopened deck of playing cards advertising The Bohemian Club. Their motto, "Weaving Spiders Come Not Here" and their owl mascot are pictured on the front. I guess that is what the back of the cards look like. The same thing is on a bronze plaque in front of their club. What is the Bohemian Club you ask? Formed in 1872, it was a club for the elite and powerful. It is still active today. Mark Twain, Dwight Eisenhower, Walter Cronkite, Jack London, Dick Nixon, Amb...rose Bierce, GHWB, Henry Kissinger, W.H.Taft, are just a few of the thousands of members in history that have belonged. Who knows who is a member now. Sounds pretty secret. Look it up. They hang out in the Redwoods of California each year to decide the fate of the world at the Bohemian Grove. This is REAL! These cards are inevitably from one of those gatherings. I've only seen one other, used. This is NOS!
