Original Description:
Here we have a Vintage DIXON No. 3 Forming Hardy T-STAKE Anvil Rounded ~ for BLACKSMITH,  SILVERSMITH, TINSMITH.  I purchased this from a Silversmith's estate sale. I also have 4 other Dixon fabrication tools that came from this sale.  This semi-steel T-Stake has a smooth polished central anvil flat surface ( approx. 1-1.2" x 2-5/8") and two smooth polished extensions. One extension is a 'straight round' that is 1-3/8" in dia.  The other extension is simil...ar but it ends with a nice polished " dropped knob" shape. Overall length of the 'T' is 10-1/4".  The stake shaft is tapered 15/16" down to 11/16" and is designed to go into the Dixon 5022 Base Holder. This tool weighs 6 lbs. 4 oz.  There are no cracks, breaks or repairs to this tool.
