STANLEY BEDROCK NO . 604 SMOOTHING PLANE. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box. Stanley Bedrock no. 604 in great condition. There are no broken chipped or repairs to this plane. Redwood knob and tote are in beautiful condition. Sweetheart blade is sharp and has good length. A Hock blade would be a good slight upgrade if one wanted to preserve original blade for collectibility . This plane is ready to go to work with no need to restore or even clean.... Lever cap has a good snap and works as it should. The logo on lever cap seems to have suffered from casting mishap (see pictures) but of course does not affect function. There is a #19 inscription on sides of plane but it seems to only add , along with lever cap logo, to the character of this beautiful plane. Plane is a type 5 cir. 1911 with two patent dates behind frog. Overall a great Bedrock plane!
