VERY RARE LARGE 18/19thC DERBY ORNITHOLOGICAL BIRD SCENIC ENAMEL SERVING BOWLNO RESERVE ESTATE TREASURES AUCTION inc FINE ASIAN ARTS Hello, thank you for having a look at our auctions! Up for auction with No Reserve is a very Rare 18th or early 19th Century Derby Porcelain Serving Bowl. The Bowl is a very rare example and I am sure few genuine Derby period examples come up for auction. The Serving Bowl is incredibly hand painted throughout with amazing Ornithological Bird Scenic and Botanical Flower designs in rich jewel colors, all much nicer than my photos show.
The Serving Bowl is in excellent condition for the great antique age with no chips cracks or repairs, just some light wear as seen. The Serving Bowl makes a lovely display measuring 12-1/2 inches long by 10 inches wide and sitting 2 inches tall at the raised rim.
