You are looking at a set of vintage 26" hand saws, 1 rip and 1 crosscut, made in the USA by Henry Disston & Sons of Philadelphia, Pa. These saws are marked on the face of the blade with the familiar Disston keystone logo (The rip saw is only partial). Both saws sight straight and feature straight backs wit narrow tips. The rip saw is 5 1/2 Points per inch and the crosscut is 8 Points per inch, and both have all the teeth intact and in good condition. The steel is clean ...on both, but both have some darkening from previous oxidation. The handles are chip carved Apple, and there are no splits or cracks, although they do show usage and light finish wear. They are held by five steel saw nuts, one of which holds the "Disston - USA" medallions. Great for he user or the collector. I will ship via Parcel Select Mail as soon as cleared payment is received.
