Here is how I grade: MINT-To me, Mint is in perfect condition so it’s never been played oropened. I only have used vintage original albums that are 30+ yearsold so I will not list anything as Mint. NEAR MINT-Looks and sounds like new. Near perfect record with atmost a couple light surface scratches or scuffs with no crackling or skips whenplayed. Inner sleeve may have a small crease on corner, no fading, very, very light wear on corner/edges, or no splits over a ½inch. Jacket may have very light edge/corner ware, no fading, orring wear. EXCELLENT-Near perfect sounding record with very few light scratchesor scuffs. May have very light crackling/surface noise when played betweensongs or intro. Inner sleeve may have small creases on corners, very lightfading, very light wear on corner/edges, or very small spits, but overall inexcellent condition. Jacket may have very limited markings or verylight ring wear with corners/edges slightly scuffed. VERY GOOD-Record shows some signs of wear with surface scuffs andlight scratches, but surface noise can mainly be heard when playing in betweensongs, intros, or in soft spots. Inner sleeve has some creases, light tears, light ring wear, or have splits (some may have beentaped). Jacket shows some wear, light fading, light ring wear, orsmall creases, but overall looks very good. GOOD-Recordplays just fine, but has some surface noise and scratches or is slightlywarped. Inner sleeve has multiple creases, tears, ring wear, orsplits on more than one side (some have been taped).
