A ca 1950 Swivel Bench Vise with Anvil from HOWE & FDRY Co. Littlestown, P.A., USA
Measurements: 3-1/2" jaws and about 10" long with jaws closed. Weighs approx. 9-1/2 lb. before packaging.
Condition: Vise is used and as such has wear to the original greenpaint.The screw and swivel base turn with ease. There is a rough spotwhere the slide enters the passage. It's either chipped or was a flaw in the casting. There is no loss of stre...ngth and no cracks, fissures orrepairs. The area in question is shown with a close-up view in picture# 6. Some surface rust is present as pictured.
