for auction is a Disston 5 1/2 TPI rip saw that is as found and in unused condition it was purchased from a recent estate with other unused hand saws that I have sold. This saw is a late model Disston hand saw that was made by H K Porter Co. Danville VA. It is a great user tool. It is as found and un-cleaned. It has spots on the blade , on both sides due to poor storage. These spots are the start of surface rust and corrosion. I do not know the proper way to clean the saw So I am... leaving the cleaning to the professional new owner. The saw is straight and the teeth are factory sharp. The teeth have been protected with the plastic slide sheath. /. The handle is in fine shape. Please see pictures for condition. Ask questions before you bid.
