This is for a fabulous little silver Japanese water dropper from the early meiji period, its a little water container that was used to drop single drops of water, it would have been used in calligraphy and would have been an integral part of a very ornate Suzuribako, a Japanese writing box. It is in absolute excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere and it is signed on the base, by whom or for what i dont know. It measures roughly 60mm x 30mm and stands 12mm tall.
