Wonderful Antique Heirloom Piece!!Beautiful rar...e World War 1 antique white Irish linen tablecloth.White on white hand embroidery stitching with centre monogram "C.B". Each corner "Victory 1914" + "Peace 1919".Hand crochet lace edging "PEACE 1919" skilfully repeated throughout the lace. Please! zoom photos for the finer detail & flaws there maybe.
CONDITION!!-very good antique but not perfect!-the crochet lace edging does have a number of broken threads(small tiny holes) but nothing major that can't easily repaired with a little patience. About 4 or 5 age related rust specks-so tiny barely noticeable. Apart from these minor flaws (pic's, 10, 11&12) it remains in remarkable condition considering it's age. Size=41"inches by 39"inches this is excluding 7"inches of lace edgings.
