Up for auction is a vintage BEST Company logo padlock used by the Fisher Body company in its Pittsburgh, PA plant. Comes with 3 operable keys. Brass body and steel shackle. In excellent condition. Founded in 1908, Fisher Body was an American automobile coach-builder that eventually became a division of General Motors. The Pittsburgh plant once made parts for GM cars and trucks and employed over 1, 500 workers. The plant was closed in early 2008 making the Pittsburgh vers...ion of this Fisher Body lock one of the rare varieties. Coin is for size comparison purposes only.
