Here we have an EARLY Antique STANLEY No. 9 1/2 Adjustable Throat Block Plane, 6" L Type 10 (1894-1897). Early body type with rear positioned sidewall humps and no 'Hand-y' feature. All moving parts work as they should. Japanning is only about 65-75 %. Good body, sole and mouth with some stains on the sole. 'S' casting mark. Early style lever cap. Lateral lever has patent dates. Unfortunately the eccentric throat adj. lever has gone miss...ing over the years. Very Good 1-5/8" wide cutting blade with early Stanley arched logo. Blade is sharp but should be checked before use. No cracks, breaks or repairs. No owners marks. **Please remember to leave Feedback. I will gladly reciprocate. :-)
