For sale is a antique unknown brand 5 point handsaw, with a overall measurement of 27", with a 22-3/4" long plate, with widths varying from 1-5/8" at the toe, to 5-1/8" wide at the handle heel. It has a four{4}split brass nut design handle in very good overall condition, with all but "Cast Steel" missing from its etching, as shown in the last picture. The handle is sound, solid, and intact, with wear on the undersides of the horns{8th & 9th pictures}, with initials from a previous ...owner on one side, as pictured, showing use and wear consistent with its age. It has been gently cleaned, oiled, and waxed, and seems sharp, with any additional or necessary jointing, setting, and sharpening left up to you A beautiful piece of early carpentry, for display, use, or for part of your collection.
