Original Description:
This is a most attractive example of a Victorian domestc postal balance with a complete set of weights from 2 x 1/2 to 2 ounces. It has the postal rates printed on the letter pan and these rates were in force from 5th October 1871 until 30th October 1897. It has lovely little bun feet and is nicley aged with no damage, and is completely functional. The base measures 7 x 3.75 inches and it stands approximately 3.25 inches tall.
