This Stanley plane frog assembly is in Good Plus condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. About 90% of the original Japanned finish remains on the frog. There are a couple of small rust spots on the back of the lateral adjustment lever, which contains the patent date of 7.24.88 on the front. It also comes with the small 1" brass depth adjusting nut, lever cap screw, and frog sc...rews with washers - which are all period correct. It functions perfectly. It will fit a number 3 Stanley plane.Length is 7"; Width is 1 3/4"

MINT: 100% of original finish remaining. No signs of wear or rust - probably never used. No problems or issues.
EXCELLENT: 95-99% of original finish remaining. Very slight wear with no rust. No problems or issues.
GOOD PLUS: 85-95% of original finish remaining. Used but well maintained. Scuffs, light wear, very little rust.
GOOD: 65-85% of original finish remaining. Moderate wear and/or rust. Minor deficiencies - owner's initials, nicks, etc.
GOOD MINUS: 50-65% of original finish remaining. Has seen hard use, but remains serviceable. Scratches, nicks, dents, cracks, chips, improper replacement parts.
FAIR: 25-50% of original finish remaining. Heavy wear and rust. Some parts are broken, missing, or improper - serious flaws.
POOR: 0-25% of original finish remaining. Pitted, abused, heavily worn. Serious damage and missing major parts.
