Very Good Complete Matching Set Of 6 Antique Victorian Brass Apothecary Weights

This is a lovely complete matching set of 6 antique brass weights for use by an Apothecary. They include 2, 1, and 1/2 dram and 2, 1, and 1/2 scruples. They are marked on the one side with "Apothecaries Weight" around a crown, and on the other side with the weight in words around the appropriate apothecary symbol. They are all in really good undamaged condition as shown. They date from before 1884 when a Weights and Measures Act was passed stipulating that the spelling of the Apo...thecary Dram unit was to be changed to "Drachm" to remove the confusion with the Avoirdupois Dram unit of weight (1/16 ounce).
