Now up for your consideration is a Vintage SandCasting Flask Clamp Made By E.E. Josef - Buffalo NY - Pat Apr. 8, 1903!  This clamp was invented by Josef and hereceived a patent for the device.  Aflask clamp holds the two halves of a mold together. Moisture in the moldingsand turns to steam when the molten metal hits it. The steam can cause the tophalf to lift slightly! A flask clamp keeps the two halves from separating.  This antique clamp is in good workingconditio...n and will be a great addition to your collection.  It is from an old cast iron pipe foundry!  Don’t miss it!
